I Hear That Roller-Blading is All The Rage Now

I have decided to watch all three seasons of Mad Men via my public library. I love public libraries.

I have heard nothing but good things about the show, and in my trademark better-late-than-never approach to Pop Culture (see: Lady Gaga, Lost, The Hunger Games trilogy, and  Twitter), I am about three years behind the curve.

So, SHUSH with your secret spoiler information, Oh Jaded, Wise Ones. I don't wanna hear it.

I am off to re-read my Women's Studies textbooks and call my mother.

On behalf of the sisterhood, Feminists, thank you for creating a world with a lot less sexist bullshit.

And while I'm at it?  Thanks, Doctors, for no longer smoking during examinations.

Finally,  I saw this, and  I could not be happier.

I JUST started watching it too from the beginning. I am at the start of season two and smacking myself for not watching it sooner.

I've never seen Mad Men. I guess I should add it to the list.

I typically like more off beat shows though. Not the everyone says you have to see shows. Like "Lost" for example. Yeah, didn't get it.

I can't get the video to play yet but it looks like Guy Smiley there on the right (if my childhood memories serve me well)...

I should let you know I am your super secret Mad Men twin because guess what just arrived in the mail for me today? Season 2, disc 1 of Mad Men from Netflix. Yup! I'm that behind as well.

I also love libraries, but I must admit I didn't even consider a library for this little splurge. You can be sure I will now be checking out the collection of dvds there thanks to you.

I've been faithful watcher of Mad Men.

I like it.

I like Breaking Bad even better. Another AMC Sunday night show. (Not in season right now.)

And I'm loving The Sopranos on A&E. It's cleaned up a bit (violence, language, nudity), but boy howdy, it's still pretty rough. I can just imagine the unedited version. But I like it a lot.

I'm late to the party for most things. Mad Men is my reason for keeping cable. It's one small indulgence in my week.
That Sesame Street video is brilliant. I'm stealing it. :-)

Okay, I was just about to say that I started watching Mad Men the other day and was thoroughly confused. Clearly, I was not watching the right VERSION of Mad Men.

I'm so happy to hear that I am not the only one that is 3 years behind the curve. Although for me it is probably more like 6. But you know my sister was just telling me how awesome this show is. And if you concur, I gotta check it out.
