It probably needs a fertilizer. My mother-in-law has an orchid that she has kept flowering for a long time! I can't remember the name of the stuff though... i will pass this post onto her.
Orchids live a long time if you don't over water them and don't put them in direct sunlight. Water until the overflow comes out the bottom of the pot and then leave it for a week, until it's all dry again. The blossoms last sometimes for over 2 months. The blossom stalk will rebud if you keep it well fertilized. DO NOT cut off the flower stalk until it is completely dried up and ugly. It will rebloom.
The fertilizer I use comes from England, but there are equivalent ones in the US and Canada. "Drop by Drop" drip feeders automatically feed the plants as they need it. You snip off the top of the vial and insert the nozzle into the soil at a slight angle away from the plant.
Good luck with it. They are the most beautiful blossoms. Check my recent post on Steadfast Ahoy to see photos of mine. "My Steadfast Garden" from April 14 th.

The blossom may die but the plant will live to bloom again.

I'll just bet it can!
Well, gosh, this is totally covered. I was going to say I have that orchid plant and then what everyone else said.
So I guess my commenting here makes me a flower nerd!
I know nothing of flower saving, but I have faith you can save it
Yes, but I am not one to ask how.
No.
Yes.
If you want to.
I have no idea really.
I think not the flower, but the plant. The flower looks done.
But you can save it in your heart.
;-)
WOW-guess My mil did swing by with some help! (Steadfast Ahoy!)
